Echofonでアップした画像をLockerzから消す・・・！！

アップロード先が公式ではない

先日、久々にFirefoxのアドオン「Echofon」を使ってツイッターのつぶやきを書いてたのですが、ふと画像付きでつぶやいてみると、アップロード先がツイッター公式ではないことに気付く。

「Lockerz」・・・？

聞きなれないサイトだったのでググって見ると、そこそこメジャーなサイトだったしい。
でも、海外サイトですし、今後使わないですし、画像アップロード先は出来るだけ絞った方が管理しやすいので、画像を削除することに。

・・・・・・・・・・どうやって削除するの？

慌ててググって見ると、同じ状況で困ってる方が多いらしい。

とりあえず画像アップしたページに行っても何もできなかったので、適当アカウントを新規に作ってみました。
で、右上の「Hi, (アカウント名) 」のところから「Settings」を選び、ツイッターと連動させる設定をクリック。(ツイッター公式ページにログインしておくこと)
これに気付くまで時間がかかった・・・

ツイッターと連動すると、「photos」に「Echofon」でアップした画像が出てくると思います。
ここで画像の側にあるバツ印をクリックして画像が消せるはずらしいのですが(LockerzのFAQ曰く)、バツ印が見当たらなかったんですよね・・・・

仕方がないので、アカウントを削除するときにphotosの画像も削除してもらうことに。

問い合わせしてみた

まず、

に、件名・本文ともに、
「Please　Delete my Lockerz account」(私のアカウントを削除してください)
と書いたメールを送信。
・・・・・すればいいとググって見つけたのですが、私の場合「photosの画像も削除して欲しい」と思ったので、
「Please　Delete my Lockerz account & photos.」
と書いて送信してみました。
送信する時はLockerzのアカウント作成時に登録したメールアドレスで送信してください。

すると、まず以下のような返信が届きました。

Thanks for taking the time to email Lockerz support! Your ticket (#●●●●) is being reviewed by our Member Experience Gurus.

We work hard to answer your questions within 24 hours, 7 days a week.

これは大体、
・Lockerzとツイッターの連動のさせ方について
・運営にツイッターアカウントでアップした画像を削除して欲しいときは、ツイッターのアカウントを教えて下さい
・フィードバックするので、退会したい理由を教えて下さい
的なことが書いてあります。
アカウント削除すると元に戻せない的な事も書いてありました。

とりあえずこれには以下のように返信してみました。

Please　Delete my Lockerz account & photos.

The account of my Twitter is ●●(ツイッターのアカウント名).

返信先は上記できたメールに対して返信する形で出してます。
(タイトルもRe:付きでそのまま。引用文もつけたまま送りました)

当初私はここで間違えて、最初のサポート@lockerz.comの方に何度も送ってたので、
同じメールばかり返ってきました＾＾；

で、ちゃんとヘルプデスクに返信する形で送ると次のようなメールが返ってきました。

Hi ●●,

Thanks for your reply. Your account has now been closed. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions, and remember that you're welcome to re-join us anytime (by opening a new account with a new email address)!

この時点でLockerzのサイトに行ってみると、アカウントもちゃんと消えていましたし、画像も削除されていました。

一応上のメールには「なにか新たな問題があった時は連絡してください」とあるので、問題があった場合はメールしようと思います。
あと、新しいアカウントを取る時は「新しいメールアドレスで」取ってくださいとありますね。

最後に

海外のサイトですので、こちらと時刻が違う分返信に少し時間がかかるようです。
あまり焦らないのが肝心ですね＾＾；

ちなみに、今記事を書いてる時点でLockerzのメルマガが来てるので、1週間以上メルマガが来るようならまた問い合わせてみようと思います。

メルマガ(DM)がずーっと届くので、サポートにメールしてみました。

上の「アカウント消したよ」というサポートからのメールに返信する形で送ってみました。
送った内容は以下のようなもの。

Please stop the delivery of the e-mail magazine.

I resigned from this site.
However, it is awkward for me that an e-mail magazine is still delivered.

Please stop the delivery of the e-mail magazine!

英文書けなかったので、ヤフー翻訳の力を借りました。
ざっというと「このサイト退会したのにメルマガ届くよ！メルマガの配信止めてくれよ！」
というかんじ。

するとこんな返信が来ました。

Hi there,

To unsubscribe from the Newsletter, simply click "One-Click Unsubscribe" at the bottom of the Newsletter email. This will ensure that you never receive a Lockerz newsletter to that email address again.

訳すると、
「メルマガ退会するには、ただメルマガの一番したにある”One-Click Unsubscribe”をクリックするだけでいいよ。これで二度とそのメアドにメルマガが届かなくなるよ。」
との事。

さっそくメルマガを見てみると、確かにあった。こんなかんじで。

退会のリンクは一番右下の青リンクですね。
クリックすると一発で「解約しました」のページに飛んだので、これで大丈夫だと思います。
